About Me

I’m Jeff Werth, a video editor turned journalism & language arts teacher. Through both careers, one thing became obvious: my passion is photography.

Born and bred in the Midwest, I’ve settled in Des Moines with my wife, Lisa, our two (now adult) kids, our grandson, and our pup, Frisco.

I love portrait photography and the special opportunity to capture the personality of my subjects. Lisa and I are avid travelers, and I take great joy in memorializing our experiences in my landscape and nature photos. As may become obvious when viewing my photos, mountains and waterfalls hold a special place in my heart.
